ZEE5 Film Festival

• ZEE5 is a digital entertainment destination,
  launched by Zee Entertainment Enterprises
  Limited. It was launched in India on February 14,
  2018 with content in 12 languages like Hindi,
  English, Tamil and many more languages. The
  website also has an app, ZEE5 App.
• Under ZEE5 Film Festival, one film will release
  every Friday till November 9, 2018 and will have
  six films each from India and Pakistan. The
  movies are by acclaimed directors with well-known
  actors and have the power to influence and change
  mindset across the globe.

• The story of Lala Begum revolves around the
  bitter relationship between estranged sisters,
  Meher and Seher. After her husbands death, Seher
  returns to her fathers home to claim her share
  in the property. While Meher refuses to give any
  share as Seher had eloped with Ahmed, the man
  Meher was in love with.

The story of Dobaara revolves around Parvathy, a
free-spirited girl, but her life takes a turn
when her parents force her to get married. She
marries Mohan, and they move to a new city. Mohan
gets busy in his work and she has to manage the
whole family. After their son graduates, she
takes a drastic step which shakes her 20 years of

The story of Guddu Engineer revolves around
Guddu, an engineering student, who is having a
near perfect life. To impress his girlfriend,
Guddu makes a wish list and manages to achieve it

The story of Baarish aur Chowmein revolves around
Siraj who is unable to rent a house in Mumbai
because he is Muslim. So, he hides his identity
and finds a home, where he falls in love with the

husband takes up a job abroad, within the first

The story of Toba Tek Singh is based on a story
written by writer Saadat Hasan Manto. Set in the
pre-partition era, patient Bishan Singh shares a
close bond with his inmates from the mental
asylum in Lahore. However, after partition when
the government decides to send patients to India,
