• Steps to place the paper in hp printer
• First of all, lift up the front cover of the
  printing device which is a paper tray. The cover
  of this section snaps shut so you have to pop it
  to open it.
• Then take out the swinging arm that is fixed
  inside the paper tray and flip up the small flap
  located at the end of this arm. The arm and the
  flap at the end of the paper are used to protect
  the sheet from falling down on the floor while
  printing.
• Then take a bundle of sheets which is about ½
  inch or 1 inch tall and gently press one of the
  edges of the stack on the flat surface until the
  opposite edge of the single papers appears to be
  lined up.

• After that, put tape on the long edges of the
  stack of the sheet until the opposite long corner
  of all the single paper appears to be lined up.
• Now place one end of the paper stack on the tray
  in such a way that the short edge should be
  facing into your machine. Then push the stack
  inwards until it gets into its place carefully
  without jamming it into the print device.
• Then shift the sliding tab on the left side of
  your device which is located right up to the left
  edge of the stack. Now turn on your machine and
  it is ready to print.
