About Us

• Murrays Pharmacy is a leading award winning

  community and health centre locations. We employ
  over 230 staff across 25 pharmacy locations,
  including specialist mobility aid centres.

Our Services
Weve launched a range of innovative and
affordable services aimed at improving community
health, such as Healthy Living Pharmacy, NHS
Health Check, Blood Pressure Monitoring and
Dosettes, Weight Management.

Mobility Aids

• We have access to a full range of high quality
  mobility aids to daily living aids e.g.
  Wheelchairs, walking aids, scooters, riser
  recliners, bathroom accessories etc.
• We also have trained staff available in our
  pharmacies to assist and advise you on your
  requirements and purchases.

Alcohol Screening Service

• This service is designed to screen patients both
  opportunistically and on days when we run our
  alcohol awareness days.
• Using a audit tool, we score you on your
  average weekly alcohol consumption. It only takes
  a few minutes, and is conducted by one of our
  Alcohol Screening Service trained staff.

Contraceptive Services

• Murrays Contraceptive Services, Many of our
  pharmacies are able to offer FREE Emergency
  Hormonal Contraception (EHC) or Morning After
  Pill, to women aged 16 years and above.
• Teenagers below this age may be offered the pill
  at the discretion of the pharmacist

Chlamydia Treatment Service

• Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease, that
  people are often unaware of, as it is virtually
  symptomless.
• It is prevalent amongst the 16-25 year age group,
  and as well as a screening service, we are able
  to offer a treatment service to those who have
  tested positive.

Flu Vaccinations

• Flu is a highly infectious and very common viral
  illness that is spread by coughs and sneezes, and
  getting a flu jab is the single best way to
  protect yourself from flu.
• Flu is caused by a different group of viruses and
  the symptoms of flu tend to be more severe and
  may last longer.
