Indications

• For symptomatic relief of anxiety and tension
  related to psychoneurosis and as an adjunct in
  organic disease states in which anxiety is
  manifested.
• Useful in the treatment of pruritus due to
  allergic conditions like chronic urticaria and
  atopic and contact dermatoses, and in
  histamine-mediated pruritus.
• As a sedative when used as premedication and
  following general anesthesia

Things to be remembered before taking Generic
Atarax

• Epilepsy or other seizure disorder
• Asthma, emphysema, or other breathing problem
• Glaucoma
• Heart disease or high blood pressure
• Stomach ulcer, blockage in your stomach or
  intestines
• Thyroid disorder
• Enlarged prostate or problems with urination
• Liver disease
• Kidney disease

How should Atarax be taken?

• Generic Atarax should be swallowed with a glass
  of water without chewing, crushing or splitting.
• Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor
• Store at room temperature away from moisture
• Do not take more or less than recommended
• Can be taken with or without food
• In case of a missed dose, skip the missed dose if
  the time is near to the nest dose
• Do not take double medicine to compensate for
  missed dose

Precautions and warnings

• Generic Atarax 25mg can increase risk of heart
  rhythm disorder and can be life threatening.
  Thus, inform your doctor in case of any heart
  problems or if on any other medicines, including
  OTC medications.
• Treatment with hydroxyzine should be stopped and
  immediate medical attention should be sought in
  case if heart problems such as palpitations,
  trouble breathing, and loss of consciousness are
  experienced during the therapy.
