clipped over the finger or sometimes the toe.
Diagnostic equipment few auxiliary devices, such
as mobile x-ray units, are sometimes found in the
operating room. These portable units are powered
by a generator.

Some devices are handheld as well. Disposable
equipment catheters are particularly found in
operating rooms, enabling quick draining and
disposal of urine during surgery. There are other
types of catheters that are used to measure the
amount of fluid in the heart and to figure out
how well the heart is functioning.
