Title: SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
1SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
2SURVEILLANCE CAMERA
A surveillance camera is used in surveillance to
monitor public or private areas that need to be
monitored for security reasons.Modern security
cameras use CCTV technolog, which employs video
cameras that transmit signal to a specific
limited set o monitors. Some functions of a
surveillance camera are that it allows you to
observe activity that is happening without you
actually having to be there. There is no need to
inform the people involved and you can gain
access to the video via your web browser on the
Internet or a local network without having to
even be in the same state much less the same
building. Depending on your specific needs, you
can pause and still capture an image, zoom in and
enlarge a part of the image, and even have the
surveillance system notify you via email if there
is an "occurrence" it has captured on film.
3HOW IT WORKS?
CCTV camera system includes one or more cameras
which are used to send video images audio data
to a monitor. Essentially, these camera systems
use cameras to transmit the signals to a main hub
which then records that data for later viewing or
live viewing if you have full time security
personnel on your premises.

5TYPES OF CCTV SYSTEM
- Wired CCTV System

6WIRED CCTV SYSTEM
Wired CCTV systems connect the camera to the
recording device monitor with the help of
standard coaxial cable or unshielded twisted
pair cables or fiber optic cables. The image data
is usually transmitted over a coaxial cable. The
signal transmitted over these cables is then fed
into a monitor or set of monitors if the image
needs to be visible in different locations.

8WIREDLESS CCTV SYSTEM
Wireless CCTV systems are similar to wired CCTV
systems. Radio transmitter is attached to the
camera. A radio receiver then attached to the
input on the monitor system or computer. Wireless
systems are useful when the distance between the
camera and the monitor is too far to be
practical for a cable run.

Do not work always CCTV camera system cannot
monitor every area of your office or home at all
times. It cannot be considered as a foolproof
method for crime prevention. The view of CCTV is
limitedOnce these are installed, they are
capable of keeping track of a certain angle and
certain area of that particular area. The area is
certainly very limited. The wireless
technology The technology of this wireless CCTV
is such that they can subject to distortion due
to the other powerful devices that are installed
alongside.The wired technology The disadvantage
of using a wired CCTV camera is that it cannot be
ported to any other place but has to be installed
in a particular part of an area and has to be
left it that way for the rest of the time.
Haunts the privacy at times There are certain
places where people need to have some privacy, be
it the changing rooms or the toilets. The CCTV
cameras are certainly not installed in these
places but still people get uncomfortable because
of the corruption which always is a part under
such circumstances.
