• BHIM Aadhaar Vijaya Pay is a digital payments
  acceptance solution from Vijaya Bank.
• Using Aadhaar authentication this Android app
  functions as an electronic point of sale
  terminal.
• By using this app, merchant can enable payments
  for goods/services.
• This can also be used for accepting payments from
  customers who have a Aadhaar seeded bank account
  (authenticated by verifying customers
  biometrics).
• BHIM Aadhaar Vijaya Pay app is interoperable
  which means customers of any other participating
  bank can also transact using the same application.

• By using this app, customers can transact without
  the need for any physical payment instrument.
• For Merchants to use
• Merchants need to download and register in the
  Aadhaar Pay app.
• Merchants mobile number should be linked to an
  Aadhaar biometric reader.
• Once the above are done, customers can start
  transactions.
• For Customers to use
• Customers have to link their bank account with
  Aadhaar number.
• For performing the transaction, merchant enters
  his Bank details, then enters Aadhaar number
  followed by authentication.
• Here, the merchant outlet becomes a Banks mPOS
  Merchant point.

Requirements of the App

• From Merchants standpoint the following are
  required for the App to work.
• Vijaya Bank account which is Aadhaar seeded.
• Certified Biometric Reader.
• Android smartphone having Android version 4.2 or
  higher with internet connectivity and OTG support
  for connecting the biometric device.
• Phone should be able to drive the biometric
  reader.

BHIM Aadhaar Merchants Incentive Scheme

• For every transaction, merchant will be rewarded
  with an incentive which is calculated _at_0.50 of
  the transaction value with a minimum being ? 2
  and maximum being ? 50/-
• Maximum incentive is restricted to ? 2000 per
  merchant per month.
• This scheme is valid till 31st March 2019.
