  traditions, food, pop culture, social issues,
  music, or anything inspiring and
  thought-provoking.  I have met a multitude of
  diverse and inspiring people from around the
  globe, that you may or may not have heard of, but
  each has a fascinating story to share.

Who is Mimi Chan

• I was born in Boston, both of my parents are
  immigrants of Chinese descent. I teach Kung fu at
  Wah Lum Temple in Orlando. My life was filled
  with travels all around the world and meeting
  some extraordinary people in the world. I also
  love to read comic books. I dabbled in film but
  now I am leaving those jobs and look forward to
  having them on the podcast.

I admit to knowing very little about the holy
month of Ramadan, so I reached out to two of my
students, a father and daughter, who I knew were
observing Ramadan. It was great for me to get a
deeper understanding of the religious and
cultural aspects of Ramadan.
