Installing email on Galaxy 8 is not an easy task.
If you are new to installation, then you may give
up and change to other email service provider.
Today, we are going to discuss steps to setup
Roadrunner email on Galaxy Note 8.

• To set up an account, you just need to have an
  account on Roadrunner email.
• A valid internet connection is required.
• Click next to read instructions for configuring
  mail on Galaxy note 8.
• Open startup screen and swipe up and down to open
  the menu.
• Select Email.

• When the screen for email appears, click on the
  list icon. Tap to add an account.
• Now, you need to enter the email address of your
  Roadrunner email account.
• Enter the password for your email account.
• Click on Manual setup.
• Open POP3 account type.

• You are now required to enter the email address
  again followed by account password. This is done
  for authentication purpose.
• Enter username. It will be the email address of
  your account. In case you dont know the password
  for your account, you can click on Forgot
  password.
• Scroll down to enter POP3 server address. It will
  be in the form POP3.RR.com.
• Select SSL for security type.
• For port number, you need to enter 995. If this
  port number doesnt work on your device, then get
  help from Roadrunner help support page

• Go to Delete email from server option.
• You will now direct to outgoing server settings
  page. Enter outgoing server address. It will be
  in the form SMTP.RR.com.
• Select the same SSL for security type.
• Enter 465 in the port number. This port number is
  valid for Roadrunner email accounts. If you find
  this port number non-working, then get it
  confirmed from the RR email support executives.
• The next option is, Authentication required
  before sending emails. If this option is
  enabled, then disable this option first. If it is
  already disabled, then no need to change it. You
  can go to next step.

• Now, your account will get verified. You need to
  select Next to start the verification process.
  If any error message is displayed, then move to
  next step.
• In the next step, you will be asked about sync
  schedule. Click on After every 10 minutes. 
• Notify for new mail when arrives.
• Click Next.
• You can now change the account name if you want
  to. Its not mandatory.

• Once done with the account name, click Next.
• The account is now successfully configured. You
  can start sending and receiving the emails on it.
• Go to Start screen.
• SMTP verification is required for most of
  Roadrunner email service provider or other mail
  providers. If you are not being able to send mail
  after verification, then disable this option.
• Try again.
