2WHAT IS WHITE CARD COURSE?
Vigil Training College offers a Nationally
Recognised training program that meets the
requirements of CPCCWHS1001. Prepare to work
safely in the construction industry and NSW Work
cover requirements for General Construction
Induction Training. The course is also known as
Construction Induction Card or White Card Course.
3WHY DO I NEED WHITE CARD COURSE?
The White Card Course is a mandatory requirement
under Work Health Safety Regulation 2011 for
those
- Carrying out construction work, including site
managers, supervisors, surveyors, architects,
labourers, tradespersons - People who access operational construction zones
unaccompanied or not directly supervised by an
inducted person - Other workers whose employment causes them to
routinely enter operational construction zones
e.g. security officers working on construction
sites.
4WHAT ARE THE PREREQUISITES FOR THE WHITE CARD
TRAINING?
There are no formal educational requirements for
this program. Note We are not CRICOS registered
and do not enroll International Students Visa
Holders in this course.
5WHAT CONTENTS WILL BE COVERED DURING THE WHITE
CARD TRAINING?
- Identify WHS legislative requirements.
- Identify construction hazards and control
measures. - Identify WHS communication and reporting
processes. - Identify WHS incident response procedures
