Title: Keep Your Home Cool with Evaporative Cooling System

1
Evaporative cooling systems use the same
principle as perspiration to provide cooling for
machinery and buildings. A cooling tower is a
heat-rejection device, which discharges warm air
from the cooling tower to the atmosphere through
the cooling of water. In the HVAC industry, the
term cooling tower is used to describe both
open- and closed-circuit heat-rejection equipment.

Evaporative Cooler Deliver The Appropriate
Airflow for The Home
Evaporative air conditioning uses evaporation to
cool the air. In an evaporative cooler, such as
Breezair, a pump circulates water from the
reservoir on to a cooling pad, which in turn
becomes very wet. A fan draws air from outside
the unit through the moistened pad. As it passes
through the pad the air is cooled by evaporation.
The key to effective evaporative cooling is
ensuring that each of the cooling pads are
completely saturated at all times during
operation and that the systems fan motor are
sized and designed to deliver the appropriate
airflow for the home

Evaporative Cooling is Best Suited for Hot, Dry
Climates
Evaporative cooling is a technology that takes
advantage of water evaporation to cool incoming
air. Energy is required to change water from a
liquid to a vapor (i.e., the heat of
vaporization), and in doing so, the sensible air
temperature of the air is reduced. The amount of
cooling provided is driven by the "dryness"
(i.e., the wet bulb temperature) of the incoming
air hence, evaporative cooling is best suited
for hot, dry climates.
