Sankat Mochan Temple

• A very popular temple in Shimla, Sankat Mochan
  temple is situated on Kalka-Shimla highway. The
  temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and was

Tara Devi Temple

• Tara Devi is a 250 years old temple in Shimla.
  The temple is situated about 15kms from the town
  of Shimla on Kalka-Shimla Highway near Shoghi. It
  is believed that Tara Devi was the Kull Devi
  (Family Deity) of Sen Dynasty, who came from the
  eastern state. According to legends, the temple
  was commissioned by Bhupendra Sen, who ordered to
  build a temple for Maa Tara Devif Bengal.

• Bhimakali Temple is a very famous Hindu temple of

  The main deity of the temple is Goddess Bhima
  Kali -an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Inside the

• The famous Temple of Mata Chamunda and is located
  in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. Hamunda
  Devi Mandir is at a distance of 10 km from
  Palampur, on the banks of Baner River. It is also
  known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham.

Chinnamastika Temple

• It is the famous Hindu temple of Mata
  Chintapurni. It is surrounded by the western
  Himalayas in the north. The simple structure of
  the temple contains the main shrine, where the
  image of Mata Chintpurni is placed in the form a
  pindi (a round stone). During the time of
  Navratras, the temple observes grand fairs and
  festivity.
