BLACK BEAR HUNT
Hunt in one of the newest areas allocated in
Northern Manitoba for non-resident black bear
hunters. All our hunts are fly-in by float plane
to our hunting area allocated by the Manitoba
Government. There are no roads, mining or
logging in our hunting and fishing area! We have
the only camps on these lakes. Our exclusive,
5,000 square mile area is located NW of Lynn
Lake, Manitoba. This new area has many trophy
size Manitoba black bears in the 200 500 lb.
range. Call Our Manitoba Black Bear Hunting Camp
For A Chance To Get A Trophy Black Bear. A chance
for a Pope Young and Boone Crockett bear is a
reality. The bears in this area have received
very little pressure because of the vast
remoteness of the area. Approximately 30 of the
bears in our area are of a different color phase
such as blonde, cinnamon and chocolate
brown. We hunt mostly by boat on lakes and
rivers. Shots are taken from 10- 50 yards
depending upon if you are shooting with bow or
gun. We can also accommodate the handicapped or
elderly hunter. You may hunt with rifle, bow,
cross bow or black powder, but no handguns are
allowed in Canada. Timber wolves may be taken on
your bear tag in the fall and does not count
against shooting a bear.

Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting in the Duck
Mountains of Western Manitoba
Hunt in one of the best areas allocated in
Western Manitoba for Trophy Whitetail Deer. Our
exclusive, 2,500 square mile area is located in
and along the Duck Mountains of western Manitoba.
This new area has many trophy size Whitetail buck
in the 140-180 class. Because this area is so
vast and remote, a chance for a Pope Young and
Boone Crockett buck is a good possibility, The
deer in this area have received very little
hunting pressure. We hunt out of box blinds,
metal ladder stands and pop-up ground blinds. The
area consists of vast ranges of timber,
agriculture and swamps. We have stands set up on
private farms as well as in the Crown Govt. land
in the Duck Mountains. We travel to the hunting
areas by pickup trucks and then by Polaris
rangers and 4-wheelers, very little walking is
involved. We can also accommodate the physically
challenged or elderly hunter. You may hunt with
rifle, bow, cross-bow or black powder, though no
handguns are allowed in Canada. Timber wolves may
be taken on your deer tag during this hunt. We
only take 4-6  hunters per week to assure the
utmost satisfying hunt.

MOOSE HUNTS
We have some of the largest moose that Canada has
to offer. They can weigh as much as 1,600 pounds
and have antlers that reach 65 inches in width,
with the average being 50 inches. We have the
exclusive outfitting rights for our own 5,000
square mile allocated area located 30-70 miles NW
of Lynn Lake, Manitoba.  We take a limited number
of Moose hunters each fall. We are allocated 15
(bull only) tags by the Government of Manitoba
for our exclusive area. We are the only outfitter
allowed to take moose hunters in this area and it
is strictly fly-in with no road access. There is
no mining or logging in this area so you will not
see other hunters or people and will have a
particular area with your guide all to
yourself. This is a one guide/hunter ratio hunt.
We hunt by both boat and canoe on lakes and
rivers. We call for Trophy bulls and also spot
and stalk. Timber wolves may be taken on your
bear or moose tag. You may hunt with rifle, bow,
cross bow or black powder, but no handguns are
allowed in Canada.  We have satellite phones in
every camp for emergency or to request to moved
to another camp.

WHAT TO BRING RECOMMENDED GEAR
LOCATION PACKING
  • Our bear hunts take place in late May and June.
In June, the high daily temperatures average in
  • the 60s to lower 70s. Moose hunts are held in
    mid-September till early October. September
  • weather in northern Manitoba is similar to
late October and early November weather in the
  • upper Midwest, with periods of cool/cold,
unsettled weather followed by beautiful fall like
  • days.  Snow is a possibility in Northern
    Manitoba while moose hunting.
  • The weather in Northern Manitoba can vary
greatly on a weekly and even daily basis. It is a
  • good idea to pack for a wide range of weather
conditions regardless of the timing of your
    trip.
