Light therapy 
  • Most of the people are unaware of this term,
    light therapy, and want to know about it. It is a
    clinical technique to cure the patients of
    seasonal affective disorder, or you can simply
    say it as SAD. It is a kind of depression and can
    be cured by using therapy lamp. You can use it
    approximately for half an hour daily. This thing
    changes the mind with the help of light. The lamp
    used for this is also known as best SAD light
    therapy lamp or best light therapy lamp for SAD. 
  • Working 
  • These lamps use apparatus with a fluorescent bulb
    which filters out the ultraviolet rays from the
    light. Some specialists say that if you use it in
    the morning, then it can better filter radiations
    and provide you quicker and satisfactory
    consequences. 
  • Side effects 
  • Like any other good thing, these lamps also have
    some side effects such as eye strain, headache,
    protest and vomiting, etc. But you can get rid of
    these side effects by reducing the dose of
    light. 
  • Important Tips 
  • Below are few tips for new users of this
    treatment and if they follow these tips, they can
    get best results. 
  • Use with right angle 
  • One of the most important thing to keep in mind
    is that you should maintain the angle of best
    light therapy lamp to a suitable degree. We
    suggest keeping it at 45 degrees with respect to
    your eyes. It will also help to reduce eye
    strain. 
  • Use at proper time 
  • The best time to use best light therapy lamp is
    early morning.  A team of few members have found
    that if you use it in the evening, then you can
    get enhanced fallouts. So try to use it early in
    the morning.

  • Never use any normal lamp because it would not
    give required results. They have low lux and
    cannot provide good results. We suggest you to
    use the best light therapy lamp with 10,000 lux
    rate. It will help you to get better and quicker
    results. 
  • Use full spectrum 
  • Some of the low-quality lamps dont filter out
    all ultraviolet radiations. We suggest you to use
    any high-quality lamp which can filter out 99
    percent of UV rays so that you will remain safe
    from any side effects of the ultraviolet rays. 
  • Use with consistency 
  • It is highly recommended that you should take
    this therapy on regular basis. If you do it only
    a few times in a week or month, then dont expect
    any impressive results. You should do it every
    day at the same time to achieve the best
    results. 
  • Place the lamp at correct distance 
  • Last but not the least, you should place your
    lamp at a suitable and effective distance
    otherwise it wont be any helpful. We suggest you
    to place it about 2 feet from your head or eyes.
    At this distance, you will get the best results.
