3What is SSC CGL?
- SSC CGL is a staff selection commission combined
Graduate Level exam. This examination is held for
recruiting the various posts in the central
government for various departments. It is the
major national level exam. It has various posts
like Gazette and non-Gazette Post.

5Eligibility Criteria
- Education Qualification
- Aspirants must possess a Bachelors Degree in a
relevant subject from any institute recognized by
UGC. - Age Limit
- Minimum Age 18 years
- Maximum Age 27 years
- Age relaxation for the reserved categories will
be applicable as per government rules.
6How to Apply
- Applicants of the SSC notification have to apply
for the corresponding posts before the last
dates. - Otherwise, the applications will not be
entertained. - Applicants have to follow a sequence of steps
like Part I and Part II. - In Part-I, candidates have to register for the
1st time at the official portal www.ssc.nic.in. - Later, the Applicants have to log in with the
user id and password. - Fill the mandatory fields and click on submit
button. - Finally, the SSC Online Application process is
completed. - Collect the copy of the SSC Application Form for
further reference.

- Combined Graduate Level (Preliminary) Examination

(Tier-2) (MCQ Online) - Descriptive Test (Tier-3) (Written Pen Paper

10Tier 3 and 4 Examination Pattern
- TIER III
- This will be a pen and paper based Descriptive
Test on English or Hindi Language testing you on
Essay/Precis/Letter/Application Writing. - SKILLS TEST
- This will be conducted for certain posts alone.
However, certain posts can expect the following
skills test. - For Assistant Post in CSS only Computer
Proficiency Test (CPT). - For Post of Tax Assistant Data Entry Skill Test
at Speed of 8000 key depressions per hour.
