2Government Schemes-Stand Up India is for the
empowerment of women. Under this scheme, any
woman aspiring for an individual business can
apply for loans via any branch of the partner
banks. With the help of this scheme, women
entrepreneurs can avail a loan up to 75 of the
margin of the business.
3Mudra Yojana Scheme for Women This loan is best
for financing small ventures such as beauty
salon, tailoring shop, tuition centers and so on.
Women can receive loans under the Shishu, Kishor
and Tarun schemes, depending on the nature as
well as the state of establishment of the
business.
4- Those who are at the initial stage of the
business can avail a Sishu loan which is of
maximum 50,000. - If the business is well established then a loan
of 50,000 to 5lk can be availed under Kishore
category. - If the applicants business is well established
and looking to expand it then a loan up to 10
lakhs can be availed under Tarun category.
5Bharatiya Mahila Bank (BMB) Bharatiya Mahila
Bank is the first of its kind which works
exclusively towards the women empowerment. This
bank introduced various schemes for the women who
want to start their own business.
6Shringaar This loan is provided to the women who
want to establish themselves as beauticians. This
loan amount can be used for setting up a beauty
parlour, buying necessary equipments and meeting
day to day operations. This loan is a collateral
free loan.
7Kitchen Modernization A home and kitchen is a
place which is mostly taken care by the females
of the family. BMB offers a specialized loan
scheme to improve the kitchen and the home. A
woman can take a loan to renovate her kitchen or
purchasing other furniture and electronics needed
for the home.
8Parvarish A baby care center which is a business
meant for only females. BMB promotes females who
are interested in starting a daycare center by
offering them a loan. This loan is once again a
collateral free loan.
9Annapurna Scheme Annapurna Scheme is provided by
Bahratiya Mahila Bank which promotes women to
start their own catering business. This loan can
be used for buying utensils, water filters, and
othe necessities to start the business. The loan
amount should be repaid within 36 months.
10- Punjab National Bank (PNB)
- It has five different schemes for empowering
women by financial support. - PNB Mahila Udyam Nidhi Scheme
- PNB Mahila Samridhi Yojna
- Scheme For Financing Crèches
- PNB Kalyani Card Scheme
- PNB Mahila Sashaktikaran Abhiyan
11Andhra Bank Andhra bank provides credit to the
women for purchasing a vehicle. The scheme is
known as AB Vanitha Vahan Scheme. Under this
scheme females can get finance on purchasing two
wheeler or four wheeler vehicle.
12Bank of India This bank offers a special loan
for women for purchasing gold ornaments as well
as gold coins. This special loan scheme for
buying gold is called-Star Mahila Gold Loan
Scheme. If the applicant is non-working then 10
times of the monthly net income of the spouse can
be taken as loan.
13Central Bank of India This bank offers Cent
Kalyani Scheme which supports women who are
involved in village and cottage industries,
micro, small and medium enterprises,
self-employed women, agriculture and allied
activities, retail trade, and government-sponsored
programs. This loan needs neither collateral nor
it has any processing fee.
14Oriental Bank of Commerce Orient Mahila Vikas
Yojana Scheme will benefit those women who hold a
51 share capital individually or jointly in a
proprietary concern. One can take a loan up to 25
lakhs in case of small scale industry and the
repayment tenure is up to 7 years. There is a
concession of 2 in interest rate in this scheme.
15Women flourish their business with the help of
these schemes provided by Government as well as
banks. Most of these schemes come in subsidized
rates to encourage women to become financially
independent.
