PREPARING THE AREA

• You will first need to determine the extent of
  damage occur.
• Mostly in use is fiber glass for fiberglass
  repairs, also repair all holes for all hole
  repairing.
• It is also good for using in wide holes. However,
  for narrow and deep holes, epoxy resin is enough.
• Then, you will need to clean the tub and for
  that, make a detergent solution.
• You can use a sponge for cleaning the grime and
  residue of soap.
• You can also use oxygen bleach and water and wipe
  the tub with a sponge.
• You need to use a stripping agent and strip the
  hole.
• Also, sand the area and hole with sandpaper.
• Let it dry and brush it with some paintbrush to
  remove the residue left after sanding.

FILLING HOLES

• You can mix the fiberglass epoxy resin in the
  proportions recommended by manufacturer.
• You will need to fill the holes by resin using an
  applicator.
• You can also use a thinner applicator for pushing
  the epoxy to the bottom so that hole is full with
  epoxy.
• Then, wipe the excessive proxy and the area that
  is near the surface of tub.
• You can use sandpaper for flattening the surface
  and leveling the filler to the surface of tub.

PATCHING WIDE HOLES

• You need to check the width of hole and cut the
  fiberglass fabric according to it.
• Then, apply epoxy resin on the half hole and
  patch the hole using fiberglass fabric for
  reinforcing the resin.
• Then apply some more epoxy on fiberglass fabric
  till it is not visible.
• Let the epoxy to cure after wiping extra epoxy
  from top of the fiberglass.
• Using the sandpaper, you can flush epoxy on the
  surface of tub.
• You can continue sanding after cutting protruding
  fabric along the hole's edges.
• You need to apply another coat of epoxy and leave
  it to dry and then sand it so that it evens out.

FINISHING

• You might need to repaint the tub after you have
  filled the tub because most tubes have white
  color.
• Epoxy almost matches all the tubs because it has
  white color.
• You will need to paint the area if your tub comes
  with a tint.
• Also, if you need to repel the residue of soap,
  apply the wax to the whole tub.
• You will need to get the wax that does not have
  chemicals and might cause irritation to skin.
