INDOOR UNIT

• Before installing an ac unit, positioning and
  location is the most important factor to
  consider.
• You should try your best to avoid sunlight, heat
  and gas sources.
• The indoor unit must have a good space to
  position itself i.e. about 6 feet.
• You need to make sure if the wall is string
  enough to hold the unit secure and if not, you
  must get support of a wood or metal frame to make
  it secure.
• Good circulation of air and far from doorway is
  also an ideal location for installing your ac
  unit.

OUTDOOR CONDENSER

• The outer unit of ac must not be exposed to
  direct sunlight .
• Although, it is designed to be weather proof, it
  is a safe bet to keep it away from a place with
  too much sun exposure.
• You must lay the concrete pad and lay the
  condenser upon it.
• There should also be enough space around the unit
  and enough airflow.
• Also, there should not be any TV or radio antenna
  near the outdoor unit.

INSERTING AC

• It is best to use two people to insert the ac in
  the wall because it can get heavy.
• Put the ac in the center of your window and close
  the window tightly.
• After this, you need to make sure that the ac
  unit is securely in place.

CONNECTING PIPES

• Put a little oil on all the facings of the ac
  while connecting the pipes during the
  installation.
• The pipes should be attached in brass cones.
• Also, try not to overtighten the pipes.
• Now cover the copper pipe with foam insulation.
• Also check whether a regulation is leaking before
  you start the ac unit.
