Eyelid surgery
Eyelid surgery or Blepharoplasty is a very common
procedure performed at Dr. Valdezs. This
procedure can be performed under local
anesthesia. For upper eyelids the incision
usually begins within the natural crease of the
eyes inside corner. It extends slightly beyond
the outside corner into the crows feet or laugh
lines. Through this incision excess skin and
fatty tissue is removed. The incision line
follows the natural contour of the upper eyelid,
and is camouflaged when healed. For lower
eyelids, the incision is typically concealed just
below the lower lashes where excess skin, muscle,
and fat are removed.

High SMAS Facelift
The technique called High SMAS, is considered as
the technique of facial rejuvenation with better
long-term results, the SMAS (superficial
muscle-aponeutotic system) refers to a very
resistant layer of connective tissue that covers
the muscles of the face and continues towards the
