About Us
Upper India established its first unit in the
year 1959 and has marked its presence in India
and Global market as a leading manufacturer and
exporter of a comprehensive range of Zinc Oxide
products. On account of our diversified
Industrial Experience we have been successful in
meeting the emerging market demands accurately
and deliver a product that confirms to the
highest level of industry Quality Standards. Our
chemical compounds find their applications in the
production of Tyres, Rubbers, Glass, Ceramics,
Cosmetics, Footwear, Agriculture Zinc Based
Chemicals.

History Growth
The 1st Unit, M/s Upper India Smelting Refinery
Works had an Initial Installed Capacity of a
modest 1.0 MT per Day or 300 MT per Annum. The
Capacity has been added over the Years and now
stands at 6000 MTPA.
The 2nd Unit, M/s Chandigarh Zinc and Residues
Pvt. Ltd., Chandigarh was established in the year
1991 with an Installed Capacity of 1250 MTPA. The
Capacity now stands at 2500 MTPA.
The 3rd Unit, M/s Galaxy Industries , Samba
(Jammu Kashmir) was established in the Year
2008 with an Installed capacity of 6000 MTPA.
The 4th Unit M/s Upper India Inorganic Industries
Ltd., at Chhatral (Gujarat) has been established
in the Year of 2016 with an Installed capacity of
13000 MTPA. The commercial Productions commenced
in Apr-2016. The Unit is equipped with the latest
Machinery Automations.
