• You will usually find a wide range of colors and
  style options for the residential carpet compared
  to an office carpet. You can use a carpet which
  contains intricate design pattern with tiny
  motifs for the residence but for the office,
  plain design or stripe design carpet is best.

• For the residence, you can use any color like
  bright and vibrant or pastel and light colors but
  for the office dark color like black, red and
  light color like grey is best.
• Never use multi-colour carpet for the office.

• Comfort is a top priority for residence as
  compared to the office. Residential carpet is
  often supplied with a thick underlay, which acts
  as padding and office carpet doesn't really
  require the same.

• Office carpet is highly durable as compared to
  a residential carpet because there is more
  traffic than a residence. Office floor covering
  is created to handle high levels of foot traffic
  day after day.

• Due to high traffic, office carpets require more
  cleanliness and maintenance than residential
  carpets. For day to day, one can use a vacuum for
  residential carpets.
