• When painting your cabinets, it is not necessary
  to remove theprevious finish. All you need to do
  is give them a good wash, followed bysanding
  with a fine grit sandpaper.

• Using a good quality primer is the important
  thing to remember, becausemany cabinets will
  have been painted or finished with an oil
  product. Latexpaint does not stick to oil. So we
  recommend using a good quality bondingprimer.

• Applying a coat of primer will ensure that your
  finish coat of paintwill adhere and not scratch
  or rub off. It will also give the top coat
  asmoother appearance.

• We recommend using a high quality self leveling
  trim paint. Ourfavourite is Sherwin Williams
  Pro Classic. It self levels beautifully givingan
  almost perfectly smooth finish even when brushed
  on. 2coats are almost always sufficient to
  achieve perfect coverage.
