invoices can be cleared. If an error needs to be
corrected on an invoice that is not sent to the
customer then it should be edited instead of
deleting or voiding. But if the statement is sent
it is strongly recommended by Xero Technical
Support not to delete or void it. If no
correction is needed then issue a credit note so
that an audit lies for you and your customer. You
can always view deleted or voided invoices. The
invoice number can be reused if deleted but cant
be reused if voided. Change the number before
voiding if you wish to reuse it.

• Use these steps to delete a draft or awaiting
  approval invoices
• Click Sales in the menu of Accounts.
• Select the checkbox beside the invoices to needed
  be removed, this can found on Draft or Awaiting
  Approval tab.
• Hit the Delete button at the top of the list of
  invoices.
• Perform this process to Void a pending payment.
• Look for the awaited payment invoice and open it.
• Select Invoice Options, now click Void.
• To confirm to clear it, click OK.
