What is cosmetic surgery?
  • It is a type of surgery or we can call it as a
treatment that is used for preserving existing
beauty or making face or other body parts to look
better. It has several categories. These
categories are different sections treatment for
each body part have different names. We can say
that cosmetic surgery is not a simple word it
includes several sections of treatment actually
    it is a generalized word.

Plastic surgery
  • Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty involving
the restoration, reconstruction, or alteration of
the human body. It can be divided into two
categories. The first is reconstructive surgery
    which includes craniofacial surgery, hand
    surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment
of burns. The other is cosmetic or aesthetic
surgery. While reconstructive surgery aims to
reconstruct a part of the body or improve its
functioning, cosmetic surgery aims at improving
    the appearance of it.

Anthropometric cosmetology
  • Anthropometric cosmetology  is the medical
practice science of correction and modification
of deformities in the upper and lower extremities
of the body. This is done in order to attain an
aesthetically pleasing appearance or to eliminate
    physical and psychological discomforts. In
    anthropometric correction (extension), the
alignment of the legs takes about 17 days after
the initial operation, followed by a period of
bone fixation during which time the patient wears
    the apparatus continuously until advised
otherwise. Depending on the patient's abilities,
this may take 45-65 days. After removal of the
apparatus, the patient should avoid extensive
loads on their legs as well as wearing high
heeled shoes for about two months. Legs take the
final form 7-8 months after the operation.

Hair transplantation
  • Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that
moves hair follicles from a part of the body
called the 'donor site' to a bald or balding part
of the body known as the 'recipient site'. It is
primarily used to treat male pattern baldness. In
    this minimally invasive procedure, grafts
containing hair follicles that are genetically
resistant to balding, (like the back of the head)
are transplanted to the bald scalp. Hair
transplantation can also be used to
restore eyelashes, eyebrows, beard hair, chest
hair, pubic hair and to fill in scars caused by
accidents or surgery such as face-lifts and
    previous hair transplants. Hair transplantation
differs from skin grafting in that grafts contain
almost all of the epidermis and dermis
surrounding the hair follicle, and many tiny
grafts are transplanted rather than a single
    strip of skin.

Hair removal
  • Hair removal, also known as epilation or depilatio
n, is the deliberate removal of body hair.
  • Hair typically grows all over the human body.
Hair can become more visible during and
after puberty and men tend to have thicker, more
visible body hair than women. Both men and women
have visible hair on the head, eyebrows, eyelashes
, armpits, pubic region, arms, and legs men and
some women also have thicker hair on
their face, abdomen, back and chest. Hair does
not generally grow on the lips, the underside of
the hands or feet or on certain areas of
    the genitalia.
