  • One way to do that is by building resilience
    through decisive, thoughtful action. The American
    Psychological Association (APA) recommends
    keeping things in perspective and taking decisive
    actions that are well thought-through. Adversity
    isnt something that you can avoid but it is
    something you can do something about. Getting
    stuck and hoping that someone else will handle
    your problems isnt the best approach.

  • Other ways to become more resilient include
    creating a support group of trusted family,
    friends, and mental health professionals. Seeking
    therapy and counseling during tough times allows
    you to work through the problem quicker. Its a
    time that the APA states is ripe for

  • Allowing yourself to problem solve without
    judgment is also advisable. Be confident in your
    ability to overcome whatever adverse situation
    youre facing.
