• Install water stop material into the cold joint
  between the footing and the first course of the
  ICF block.
• Slope the surface soil away from the structure so
  that the rainfall is carried away from the
  structure.

• Install gutters and downspouts to carry the roof
  water away from the ba.0sement walls.
• Install a waterproof barrier from grade down to
  and onto the side of the footing or slab.( WATER
  PROOFING)

• Install a perforated pipe foundation drain or
  French drain and cover it in3/4 drain rock
  with 12-18 of rock. Cover the rock with geo
  textile filter fabric. ( French Drain )
• Install a protection course and drainage mat on
  top of the waterproofing course, and on top of
  the footing drain and drain rock.
• Backfill with native soil after a dimple board
  air barrier with a filter fabric has been
  installed.
