How to fix the display of your Acer laptop?

Steps to fix the laptop screen.

• Step 1 Press the predominant fn key on the
  keyboard. This key allows alternate functions in
  laptops.
• Step 2 Right after the previous step, press the
  right arrow key to adjust the brightness of the
  screen.
• Step 3 Within the same MO, press on the left
  arrow key to darken the screen.

• Step 4 Releasing the fn (special function key)
  would save the currently adjusted settings. But
  these settings are rudimentary. For further
  settings, you must access the graphics option.
• Step 5 Access the contextual menu on the desktop
  and click on Graphical properties.
• Step 6 If resolution correction is what you
  desire, go to the Display settings and choose
  the requisite resolution from the top down menu
  and click on apply

• Step 7 Within the same option, navigate to
  color correction. Here, you would get to play
  with the color brightness bar. After making
  adequate adjustments, click on Save to apply
  the color corrected settings.
• Step 8 Finally, click on Ok and exit the
  Graphical settings.
• Step 9 The following steps would pertain to the
  directions to upgrade the drivers, as driver
  issues might always be the bane of the bad
  display.

• Step 10 navigate to displays settings by-gt right
  clicking -gt go to Personalize -gt Display Settings
  -gtAdvanced Settings.
• Step 11 Click the tab pertaining to your
  graphics chip (mostly Intel (R) Graphics chip) -gt
  Choose monitor Properties -gt Select Drivers
• Step 12 You would be prompted with an update
  driver button.  Click on it and select Search
  automatically.
• Step 13 Download and install the said driver.
  After which, you would be prompted to restart
  your Acer laptop.
