- Agra Fort was worked by Rajput lord named Raja
Badal Singh who named it Badalgarh Fort.

- Lodi Dynasty
- After the assault of Mahmud of Ghazni,
Sikandar Lodi made Agra his capital. Skikandar
Lodi ruled from 1488AD to 1517 AD and was the
main ruler to move his capital from Delhi to
Agra. - His child Ibrahim Lodi likewise made Agra
his capital. Ibrahim Lodi was vanquished by Babur
in the principal skirmish of Panipat in 1526. The
Lodi tradition constructed numerous royal
residences, wells and a mosque.

- Agra Fort under Suri Dynasty
- The Suris ruled Agra from 1540 to 1555. In
1540, Sher Shah Suri vanquished Humayun, the
Mughal Emperor. Sher Shah Suri manufactured his
tomb at Sasaram in Bihar. The tomb was worked in
the vicinity of 1540 and 1545. Sher Shah Suri
passed on in 1545 and his child Adil Shah turned
into the lord. He was crushed by Humayun in 1555
however Hemu again caught the fortification in
1556. Akbar vanquished Hemu and recovered the
fortress.

- In the wake of crushing Ibrahim Lodi, the
primary Mughal head Babur remained in the
stronghold. Humayun was sent by his dad Babur to
Agra and he caught the fortification and got an
enormous fortune which incorporated a major
jewel. Humayun called the jewel as Kohinoor.This
is the stronghold where Humayun was delegated as
ruler. He was vanquished by Sher Shah Suri in
1540 and the fortress was under the Suris till
1555. Humayun crushed Adil Shah Suri child of
Sher Shah Suri and again turned into the
sovereign. Hemu caught Agra in 1556 and in the
clash of Tughlaqabad. He vanquished Tardi Beg
Khan the pioneer of Mughal constrains however he
was crushed in the second skirmish of Panipat by
Akbar.
