• In this article, we are going to discuss the job
  opportunity in the banking sector through the
  exams conducted by various institutes, banks or
  agencies.
• The list of upcoming bank exams that candidates
  apply for this year are as follows

IBPS Exams

• The Institute of Banking Personnel
  Selection (IBPS) is a recruitment agency which
  conducts various exams in the participant banks
  across the India.
• IBPS conducts exams for different positions in
  public-sector banks, nationalize banks and
  regional rural banks of India.
• Eligibility The minimum eligibility for the
  banking exam is the graduation degree from the
  recognized university or institution of India in
  any stream.
• IBPS conducts mainly four exams and the detail is
  given below

IBPS PO

• IBPS conducts a common written exam (CWE) IBPS PO
  exam to recruit Candidates for probationary
  officer also known as the management trainee.
• This is a managerial position in a bank. There
  are 21 participating banks associates with the
  IBPS, for which IBPS conducts IBPS PO exams.
• There are three phases conducted by the IBPS for
  PO exam i.e. prelims, mains and the interview
  process.
• Exam dates The tentative exam dates for IBPS PO
  are 07.10.2017, 08.10.2017, 14.10.2017
  15.10.2017

IBPS SO

• Candidates get opportunity to make career in
  their field of the graduation degree through the
  specialist officer post in the various
  public-sector banks.
• The minimum eligibility for IBPS SO is graduation
  in any specialist field like Marketing Officer,
  Law officer, HR Officer, IT Officer, agriculture
  officer etc.
• Exam Dates The prelims exam for IBPS SO is
  schedule on 30.12.2017 31.12.2017(tentative
  dates)

IBPS RRB

• IBPS conducts examination to recruit the
  candidates for the Grade-A (Officer scale-1,2,3)
  and Group-B (office assistant). These
  examinations conducted online mode and the exam
  pattern for officer level is different.
• There will be prelims and main exams phases for
  the office assistant and officer scale-1 post
  while only a single examination for the Officer
  scale-2 and 3.
• Selected candidates in above mention objective
  type written exam will be called for the
  Interview process for Grade-A officers (officer
  scale-1,2,3)

• Exam dates IBPS has released the notification
  for IBPS RRB
• examination and the exam dates are as follows
• Preliminary Exam dates
• Officer Scale I 9th, 10th 16th Sept 2017
• Office Assistant 17th, 23rd 24th Sept 2017
• Main exam Dates
• Officer Scale I, II, III 5th Nov 2017
• Office Assistant 12th Nov 2017

IBPS Clerk

• This can be considered as entry level job in a
  bank, whose role is to perform basic banking
  tasks. Salary of a Bank Clerk is generally in the
  range of Rs. 20,000-25,000 depending on various
  bank.
• Exam Dates The tentative dates for IBPS clerk
  exam is 02.12.2017, 03.12.2017, 09.12.2017
  10.12.2017
