What is SCADA ?

• SCADA systems are used to monitor and control a
  plant or equipment in industries such as
  telecommunications, water and waste control,
  energy, oil and gas refining and transportation.
• SCADA System are used not only in industrial
  processes e.g. steel making, power generation
  (conventional and nuclear) and distribution,
  chemistry, butalso in some experimental
  facilities such as nuclear fusion.
