What is a Video Processor?
  • The definition of an electric video processor is
    a device that converts a video signal or signals
    into a something acceptable for another use.
  • Although there are many devices that share the
    name, but this is specific or video displays such
    as LCD screen, front and rear DLP projectors
    displays etc.
  • There are 3 categories that these fit into i)
    Single input, multiple outputs ii) Multiple
    inputs, single outputs iii) Multiple inputs,
    multiple outputs

Video processors decode some of the following
  • Deinterlacing - Converts interlaced video, such
    as common analog television signals or 1080i
    format HDTV signals, into a non-interlaced form.
  • Aspect ratio controls the ratio of size in
    different dimensions
  • Frame rate conversion frequency at which frames
    are displayed at an animated display.
  • These are only some of the services that video

  • A video recorder is a handy device that is used
    to record images and videos as content that can
    be transferred onto other devices.
  • There are types of video recorders such as Video
    tape recorders and Digital Video recorders.
  • However, in this day and age digital recorders
    are widely used whereas tape recorders are merely
    just a hobby or specialized job role.

  • Digital video recorders record video in a digital
    format to a disk drive, USB flash drive, SD cards
    or shared storage devices.
  • Some of the sources include analog, Analog
    broadcast copy protection, digital sources,
    digital cable and satellite television and DVD.
  • DVRs can usually record and play H.264, MPEG-4
    Part 2, MPEG-2 .mpg, MPEG-2 .TS, VOB and ISO
    images video, with MP3 and AC3 audio tracks. They
    can also display images (JPEG and PNG) and play
