one. For most companies, firms and offices the
receptionist is the first point of contact
between any caller, visitor, or customer, and the
company. It is the role of the receptionist to
make sure that all the prospective customers and
callers are looked after and taken care if and
that the employers image is upheld. A bad
behaviour on the part of the receptionist would
lead to a bad
image of the overall company. It is one of the
most popular jobs for teenagers. There are a
number of receptionist jobs for 16 year olds in

    for receptionist jobs in Chicago must possess is
    the ability to do multi-tasking. Here are the
    main tasks that he/she needs to handle
  • Answer the telephone. They need to answer each
    and every call made to the reception desk and
    respond in the most pleasant and professional
    manner.
  • Attend to visitors. As soon as someone enters a
    company, the first place they go to is the
    reception desk.
  • Deal with queries. One of the most crucial role
    of the receptionist is to deal with queries and

    now and then customers get angry and rude either

    customers are calling or visiting the reception
    to fix a meeting either with the employer, the
    doctor, lawyer, etc. The receptionist would

have to be skilled in data entry. Also a
receptionist might need to retrieve data from the
database to resolve or respond to queries.
