2Core Winding is of two types
- 1. High Voltage Coils High Voltage Coil are the
component of Transformer. - Generally round insulated wire either of Copper
(Cu) or Aluminium (Al) is used as basic raw
material. - The coils are made in Number of Layers.
- The starting and ending leads of each coil are
terminated on either side of the coil. - 2. Low Voltage Coil Low Voltage Coil are also
component of Transformer. -
- Core Assembly
- It is in the pattern of thin sheets cut to
size as per design. - Nothing is performed to increase the magnetic
path. - The lamination are put through toughen process.
- The entire gathering is done on a frame commonly
known as core channel.

3Coil-Core Assembly
The constituent yield in the coil winding and
core assembly stage are then captured into
core-coil assembly stage. The core assembly is
from side to side settled with the foot plate
moving emotionally the ground. The top bond of
the core is detached. The limbs of the core are
firmly protected with cotton tap and varsed.
Cylinder is manufactured out of insulating
particle board or wood product is enveloped on
all the three limbs. Low Voltage Coil is
deposited on the insulated core limbs.
Insulating block of detailed thickness and number
are located both at the top and bottom of the Low
Voltage Coil. Cylinder built out of folded paper
with oil canel are provided over Low Voltage Cil.
High Voltage Coils are located over the
cylinder. Goap between each unit of High Voltage
Coils inclusive top and bottom clearance is
maintained with the help of oil particle board,
as per the the design. The top chain is refresh.
Top core frame consist of core bolts and tie rod
are fixed in position. Primary and secoindary
winding are established as per the needs. Phase
boundary between High Voltage phases are located
as per needs. Connections to the tapping switcy
are provided if required. Finally, the component
is placed in the oven.

4Tank Up
The core-coil mass and tank equipped by the
fabrication department are tank-up stage. The
conduct is The core-coil cluster is taken out of
the oven and the Megger test,i.e., an
instrument that generates a high voltage in order
to test resistance of insulation is carried
out. Only if the megger value is as per the
specification, the mass may be taken for
tank-up. The tanks, given by fabrication
department are brought up to tank-up department
which is duly painted. Proper fittings like drain
valves, high voltage and low voltage cylinder,
conservator, oil level pointer are equipped in
the tank. Connections of primary and secondary to
the terminal cylinder are made.
