• In 1998, the Cayman government enacted
  legislation that requires all employers to
  provide their workers with pension benefits.
  Under the National Pensions Law, a pension plan
  must be registered and meet certain provisions.
• Silver Thatch Pensions is a defined contribution
  of Cayman pension plan. Under this programme,
  employees and their employer make contributions
  based on employees earnings. Today, Silver
  Thatch Pensions is one of the largest pension
  providers in the Cayman Islands.
