planning process? The business strategic
planning process is a process that takes into
account all the steps that must be put together
while creating a strategic plan. These steps are
broad and change according to the type of
organization and the kind of work they do.
However, whatever internal changes there are in
the plan, the basic outline must be followed to
make a complete and comprehensive plan. These
steps are Preparation This step involves
doing research and getting together all the
information about the firm and its related
aspects. Mission and Vision Statements This
means either creating or changing the mission and
vision statements according to the firms needs.
5SWOT Analysis This step in the business
strategic planning process involves doing a
strength, weakness, opportunity and threat
analysis. Planning This involves planning using
all the resources, ideas and priorities. Distribu
ting tasks actions This includes assigning
the tasks to different members and making sure
they are able to do it. Putting the plan into
action This includes putting the plan into
action physically. Review This includes
checking up on the plan after its been in effect
and making necessary changes.
