Tipu Sultan Fort
Located in one of the most crowded market, Tipu
Sultan Fort is an accurate representations of the
artistic talent that used to prevail in past.
Historically, it was originally constructed as

However, it was extended and modified later on by
Haider Ali, who used granite stones to build it.

Bangalore Palace
Bangalore Palace was actually constructed in 1884
by Chamaraja Wodeyar and the inspiration for this
Palace was taken from Englands Windsor Castle.
It has some gothic style windows, turrets,
woodcarvings that have stood as a proof of
stunning architecture during the times. The
430-acre land that holds the palace has beautiful
gardens. The palace is now used to conduct
exhibitions and concerts.

MG Road
A good place to start the journey is around MG
Road (Mahatma Gandhi Road). It is very possible
that your hotel is near this area. Bangalore has
no backpacker district and other cities in India
like Mumbai (Colaba) or Delhi (Paharganj) and
perhaps the MG road would be the closest point
due to the high number of foreigners in its
streets. It is a good area full of shops and good
restaurants. Ideal to get an idea of how to live
the new technology yuppies come out of the body
of Brahma in Palo Alto Asia.

Fever Pitch Basecamp

and fun filled location to go with. Considered to
be an idea resort, the place is beautiful,
tranquil but full of adventure sports

is the ideal location for nature lovers as well
as fun enthusiasts.

The Summer Palace and Bull Temple
You can continue to the south to a Summer Palace
called Tipu. Further towards the south, there is
the curious Bull Temple. In a quiet area of the
city is a temple with a huge bull inside. This is
one of the oldest temples in the city. The bull
is 5 meters high and 6 meters wide. After
visiting the temple we turn our steps and descend
to Gandhi Bazar. Surely it is a good place to
rest and eat something. You find a couple of good
restaurants on the street Bugle Rock Road.
7
The Temple of Faith
Shiv Mandir in Bangalore surprises many. It is a
curious set of huge statues of Hindu gods painted
in all possible colors. Come on, the cinematic
art of the films of Almodovar eighties converted
in the style of Bollywood. Among other curious
pieces find a giant statue of Lord Shiva with the
Ganges river flowing around her hair.
8
Lal Bagh Botanical Garden
Lal Bagh Garden, a huge park with lakes, hosts a
lot of locals walking with a wide selection of
trees and plants. It is really neat thing that
strikes at the heart of India. Blanket inside the

phenomenal views of the city. Other suggested
