A 360-degree photo is better than its conventional counterpart

• A 360 degree photo might sound very interesting
  but it can be hard to capture. That is because
  the picture is taken by stitching together a
  minimum of four images taken all sides. Hence,
  after the first shot has been captured and the
  camera has been moved to the side, it has to form
  a perfect straight line to be in sync with the
  first shot when stitched. Likewise the third shot
  has to be in sync with the second one and
  thereafter. Those who are nuanced might take more
  shots as well for a more detailed panorama. Such
  360 photos can add an amazing perspective as it
  looks like that the entire landscape has
  virtually opened up before you. It is more of an
  extended wide angle shot, one might say. The
  results are, no doubt, captivating.

• A 360 degree photo might be taken on the ground
  but the aerial photos actually add more depth,
  making even an ordinary shot a very dramatic one.
  
• There are times when the pictures might not be
  very aligned and even a single breach in line can
  make the entire panorama lopsided.
• Synchronization is of utmost importance and that
  is what makes such a photo perfect.

Equipments Required

• Mostly a digital camera with wide angle lens is
  required for the project, something akin to Canon
  5D with Canon f2.8 FE 15mm.
• There should also be a Panorama Head with a 360
  precision head.
• The white balance, focus, aperture, shutter speed
  and exposure- everything has to be adjusted
  manually, depending on the kind of light and
  other conditions.

• It is important to understand that technology can
  only enhance the image, but a lot depends on the
  photographer himself.
• Getting a 360 degree image is not like any other
  individual shot and it requires a lot of extra
  practice before one could actually master it.
• There are times when the individual images might
  be perfectly captured, and yet problems arise
  when stitching them together. Knowledge of using
  advanced software in this regard can be an added
  advantage.
