Positive Impact At present The hotel and tourism
industry are impacted by multiple taxes. There
are three taxes that are levied on hotel and
tourism industry, which are VAT and luxury tax by
the state and the service tax by the center.

These Tax Like VAT, luxury tax, and service tax
are combined then the total tax goes up to 20-27
percent.After the GST implementation, multiple
taxes would be replaced by one single tax, which
is likely to be between 17-19 percent.
