Digital Multimeters

• A digital multimeter (DMM) is a test tool used to
  measure two or more electrical valuesprincipally
  voltage (volts), current (amps) and resistance
  (ohms).
• The face of a digital multimeter typically
  includes four components
• Display Where measurement readouts can be
  viewed.
• Buttons For selecting various functions the
  options vary by model.
• Dial (or rotary switch) For selecting primary
  measurement values (volts, amps, ohms).
• Input jacks Where test leads are inserted.

DIGITAL CLAMPMETERS

• An electrical meter with integral AC current
  clamp is known as a clamp meter, clamp-on ammeter
  or tong tester.
• Its a electrical device having two jaws which
  open to allow clamping around an electrical
  conductor.
• This allows properties of the electric current in
  the conductor to be measured, without having to
  make physical contact with it, or to disconnect
  it for insertion through the probe

• An ohmmeter is an electrical instruments that
  measures electrical resistance the opposition to
  an electric current. 
•  Micro-ohmmeters make low resistance
  measurements.
• The unit of measurement for resistance is ohms
  (O).

LCR METER

• An LCR meter is a type of electronic test
  equipment used to measure the inductance (L),
  capacitance (C), and resistance (R) of an
  electronic component.
• Data collection and Automation is made easy with
  a wide variety of interfaces such as USB, USB
  Host Port, RS-232 and GPIB interfaces, which are
  available on all of LCR meters.
•  LCR meter must have the flexibility to measure
  multiple impedance parameters over a wide range
  of frequencies and voltages.
