• Houston Bernard is the lead vocalist and
  guitarist in The Houston Bernard Band, who have
  been nominated for a number of award, including
  the Worcester Music Awards Video of the Year and
  Limelight Magazines Country Artist of the Year
  award.
• Country musics roots can be traced back to the
  folk songs that were played by immigrants in the
  Appalachian Mountains. These songs originally
  blended English ballads with traditional Irish
  and Scottish folk music, before eventually being
  infused with influences from gospel singing and
  the blues.
