  • Most of the people in Canada and in the entire
United States love pets and almost everybody
would love to have one. In fact, 67 percent or
over 79.7 million households in the United States
alone now own a pet. No matter how trained your
pets are, accidents do happen from time to time.
And when these accidents happen, it can
definitely wreak havoc on your upholstery,
carpet, area rugs, and on other soft and hard
    surfaces of your home.

  • Aside from the stains left by your pet's urine,
pet owners are also having difficulty removing
its stinky odor. Pet urine odor removal is
absolutely not a quick and easy task and it
sometimes needs a professional carpet cleaner to
    get the job thoroughly done.

5
  • Getting rid of your pet's urine totally is very
challenging. There will be times that you thought
you already have removed it from your carpet and
then a few days later you will find out that the
spot re-appeared. It's quite frustrating, right?
Well, blame it to the urine crystals that are
deposited in the backing and fibers of your
    carpet.

  • So, how can you clear out the stains and odor of
your pet's urine without calling an odor removal
company? Here's a quick way to remove pet urine
    odor.

8
  • As much as possible blot up every single drop of
the urine from your carpet with the use of a
towel or cloth soaked in warm water. Never scrub
it to avoid fraying the fibers. Also, do not wet
the area too much as it may push the urine even
    deeper.
  • Blot the spot once again, now with the use of a
paper tissue or an absorbent towel.

9
  • Apply low-residue natural, enzyme-based carpet
stain remover then allow it to stay for a minute.
  • Blot the spot with an absorbent towel once again.
  • Get another clean and dry towel and fold it
several times. Place the layered towel on top of
    the spot.
  • Put an object that weighs more than 10 pounds
over the towel. And keep it there overnight.
  • The following morning, take the towel and the
    object off the spot.
  • Then finally, fluff up the carpet and let it dry.

10
  • And you are done...
  • Now it's time for your to give your carpet a good
sniff. If you still sense some yecchy odors or
perhaps the stain shows up again after a couple
of days, you can re-do the last 6 steps.
