• One of the founder member of European community,
  Germany is located in the northern central
  Europe. It is bounded by Poland on the east and
  on the west there is Luxembourg and Belgium.
  Austria and Switzerland accommodate the southern
  border and on the south-east is Czechoslovakia
  and on the south west is France. Denmark is to
  the north of Germany while you have Netherlands
  on the north west and Germany also has natural
  frontiers on the Baltic to the north and the
  North Sea on the north-west.

  ever-changing pattern of scenery. It is a country
  of inexhaustible variety. One such place that
  must be on every travelers wish list is
  Frankfurt Oder.

• Frankfurt an der Oder, which is commonly mistaken
  as the well-known big town Frankfurt am Main, is
  a small town on the Oder River in the German
  state of Brandenburg. The town practically was
  wiped off during the WWII. However, due to its
  rich history and glorious sites that depict the
  rich heritage, Frankfurt Oder is a must visit.

• Frankfurt Oder lies on the border with Poland and
  is connected via bridge to its Polish sister city
  Slubice. The old town is always worth the visit,
  thanks to its glorious past. The mighty historic
  buildings of Northern German Brick Gothic bear
  evidence to its past. One such place is the town
  hall or the St Marien church, which, with its
  colorful luminous glass paintings, gives a
  detailed depiction of the biblical story , the
  famous picture bible.

• The concert hall Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, a
  former Franciscan church, is amongst others the
  domicile of the Brandenburg State Orchestra and
  also the Singakademie. Also since 1999, Frankfurt
  Oder carries the title Kleist Town. This is
  because the great poet was born and brought up
  here. There is a Kleist memorial and research
  facility which has been established here.
  However, the small town of Frankfurt Oder
  possesses more museums, which are all worthwhile
  visiting like the Museum Viadrina or the Museum
  Junge Kunst.

  Universität Viadrina in 1992, which, at the
  moment has a crowd of young people studying from
  78 different countries.
• Frankfurt Oder is a city of sport, many Olympic,
  World and European medalist are from here.
• Though, a small town there is never an issue
