in small glass beakers, but what about chemical
in factories- they are stored in huge tanks which

tank is designed based on the chemical corrosion
potentials. Chemical storage tanks can be used
for processing, storing, mixing and even for
transportation. There are two types of chemical
storage tanks- vertical storage tanks and
horizontal storage tanks. Vertical storage tanks
occupy less space and the quantity of the
chemicals can be easily measured. Horizontal
tanks occupy more space and are very easy when it
comes for repairing the storage tank.

Safety measures while using storage tanks
Chemicals in the tank must be stored at ground
levels and not at a very high level because there
are chances that it might spill or leak. Its
very easy to monitor when it is stored at a low
level. The chemicals in the tank must be
stored at a very minimal level in order to
minimise the risk. Chemical tanks must be
stored within a tank so that it doesnt allow for
contamination and also enables efficient
monitoring the leakage.
