Dillon Kim is a Santa Clara University graduate
with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science.
Unlike the vast majority of his fellow classmates
who graduated in 2010 from SCU, Kim was an HVAC
technician for twenty years before he enrolled at
SCU in 2006. He is now a Head Programmer and IT
Manager for the mobile dating app company
LocalDates.

online mobile dating app exclusively for
residents of Austin, Texas and a proud graduate
of Santa Clara University. He earned a Bachelors
degree in Computer Science there after working as
an HVAC technician for twenty years. At the age
of 52, he was the oldest member of the graduating
class of 2010 from Santa Clara University.

Santa Clara University
Dillon Kim took a long journey to enroll in Santa
Clara University in 2006. Kim graduated from high
school in Santa Clara, California and moved to
Alaska, where he lived for ten years working as a
fisherman and in many canneries in the vast
state. He moved back home to work as an HVAC
technician for twenty years before he finally
enrolled at SCU.

Unusual Student at Santa Clara University
Dillon Kim was a most unusual student at Santa
Clara University when he attended the college
from 2006 to 2010, since hed already been in the
working world. After he earned his Bachelors
degree in Computer Science, he moved to Austin,
Texas to help found LocalDates, a mobile dating
app company just for residents of Austin. Kim has
developed several new features for the service
and managed the companys servers.
