content
  • Introduction
  • What is Manufacturing?
  • What is Trends? Recent Trends
  • Introduction about Laser Cleaning
  • How its Works?
  • Advantages Disadvantages
  • Application.

3
INTRODUCTION
  • Industries are on the verge of fourth industrial
revolutions, as digitization now follows after
    the automation of production.
  • The goals are to increase productivity,
    efficiency, speed and quality.
  • In this way new production technics are invented,
which are now called recent manufacturing process.

4
WHAT is MANUFACTURING?
  • Arrived from the Latin word manu factus,
    meaning made by hand.
  • The Process of Converting Raw
    Materials Into Finish Products

5
What is trend ?
TREND Create something or to update
existing. The need of TRENDS in Manufacturing is
to meet the requirements of Production.
6
RECENT TRENDS
  • Leaser Cleaning.
  • Robotic and Humanoid.
  • 3D Printing.
  • Automation.
  • Smart Vision.
  • Use of Drones.

7
  • introduction ABOUT
  • Laser cleaning

8
How It Works?
  • Powerful,very short,rapid moving laser pulses
    produce micro-plasma bursts,shockwaves thermal
pressure resulting sublimation ejection of the
    target material.
  • A focused laser beam is put on the target
material material or contaminants absorb a
special wavelength and get precisely vaporizes.
  • Process optimization of the laser beam produces
maximum reaction with the target material for
speed while at the same time, does so safely and
without harm to the base material.

9
Laser beam power density is accurately adjusted
to achieve cleaning results impossible with all
other options
10
Device Used For Laser Cleaning
  • Ultra-mobile compact laser cleaning.
  • Compact Micro system laser.
  • Industrial Cleaning laser.
  • Power Cleaning laser.

11
Ultra-mobile compact laser.
Backpack mounted laser - the ultimate in
mobility Average laser power up to 20 Watt
Gentle precise cleaning of sensitive surfaces
Optional rechargeable battery powered
operation Diode pumped solid-state laser Very
quiet air-cooled system Large operating
distance (up to 250 mm)
12
Compact micro system laser.
Average laser power 12 to 100 Watt Very quiet
air-cooled system Large operating distance (up
to 500 mm) Modular configuration in 19
industrial housing Easy production line
integration
13
INDUSTRIAL CLEANING LASERS
  • 100 up to 600 Watt average power (cw)
  • Space-saving, compact construction
  • User-friendly operation
  • Pulse power up to 400 kW
  • Mobile or stationary
  • Diode pumped beam source
  • µC-based controls (menu driven)
  • Laser class 4 Product

14
POWERFUL CLEANING LASERS
1000 Watt average power (cw) Diode pumped
beam source On-board integrated PC for process
control,data storage, communications
Self-contained and fully mobile Robust
construction for durability in production
intensive industries Real-time control laser

laser parameters Laser class 4 product
15
ADVANTAGES
  • Fast set-up
  • Easy to operate
  • Quiet
  • No clean up
  • Leaves no residue
  • Highly reliable
  • Easy to automate
  • Low operating cost
  • Virtually maintenance free
  • No consumable media no abrasives, chemical ,
    solvents
  • Green process no pollution

16
DISADVANTAGES
  • Its very very costly.

17
APPLICATION
  • Aerospace Paint removal while maintaining
    primer
  • Automobile industry Pre-Treatment before
    welding
  • NDT(Non destructive testing)De-Painting for
    critical weld inspections
  • Safe removal of hazardous coating
  • Nuclear de-contamination
