About the Mela /Yatra

• Baba Ramdev is a Hindu folk deity of Rajasthan in
  India. He was a ruler of the fourteenth century,
  said to have miraculous powers who devoted his
  life for the upliftment of downtrodden and poor
  people of the society

Ramdev Pir Jayanti, the birth date of Ramdev is
celebrated every year in India by his devotees.
his day is observed as a public holiday and a
fair is held at Ramdevra temple, where lakhs of
devotees, both Hindu and Muslim, take part and
pay their homage to Samadhi at the main temple

Footfall In Baba Ramdev Mela

• As per the local administration and Temple
  administrations statistics descendants and
  followers of baba Ramdev across India
  participates in the 10 days long mela.
• The Majority of crowd comes from Gujarat , Assam
  , Chhattisgarh , Odisha , Maharashtra and
  Telangana apart of Rajasthan.
• Approx. 20 lakhs of devotees participate in the
  mela.
• According to the administrations statistics
  70 of participants comes form the rural area's
  of all the states

• As per the information from the Temple
  administration , this year the mela going to take
  Place from 01st September to 10th of September
  2016.
• Apart of the darshan , people participate in the
  local fair and other various entrainment activity
  takes Place during this time.
• The Mela Spread across 125 km. radius where
  people take rest for the entire period of the
  event
