Passionate Activist - Irene Kepler
Irene Kepler of Macomb County in Michigan has
made her lifes work the support and counsel of
those less fortunate and the promotion of social
change to benefit that same group. Her study and
academic achievement in the field of social work
has been utilized in myriad ways and places,
carrying out the very definition of the phrase
social activism.

to advance passionately held beliefs in social

rights. Kepler has labored for a number of

Irene Keplers academic preparation includes a

graduate in Social Work, Sociology, and Womens
Studies from Central Michigan University in Mount
Pleasant, Michigan. Kepler followed this
foundation with a Masters Degree in Social Work
from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,
Michigan, concentrating in Community Organizing,
Children Families, School Social Work and
Womens Studies.

Irene Kepler currently is working for her
Doctorate of Social Work with Capella University.
