When the semen goes through diagnostic tests, the
cause of infertility will be known. In many
cases, there will be issues with men. Hence, a
thorough analysis will be done and best treatment
will be offered. The semen analysis will give
useful information which includes sperm count,
the volume of sperm, of sperm, presence of
white or red blood cells and sperm clumping and
Testicular Epidermal Sperm Aspiration (TESA).

If there is adequate Women, men will be
designated for IVF. If the semen is at
sub-optimum stage, they will be designated for
ICSI (Intracytoplasmic sperm injection). If there
is no sperm in ejaculation, men will be
designated for MESA or TESA. Through MESA or TESA
semen will be extracted surgically and detailed
analysis will be done.

The use of donor sperm should be discussed with
the doctor. Couples should come to an
understanding in this direction. The donor sperm
will be screened by the participating sperm bank.
