Wisdom Teeth
Further discomfort may be caused if the upper
wisdom tooth bites down on the swollen gum below.
Tooth decay may develop on the wisdom tooth and
the back surface of the tooth in front of it.

The decay can often go undetected and may only be
discovered when there is a toothache. In severe
cases, both teeth may need to be removed.

Teeth and Headaches
A common source of headache and facial pain is
disease or dysfunction of the temporomandibular
joint (TMJ), which is where your upper and lower
jaws meet and includes the various muscle
attachments. The potential for problems can be
either in the muscles, bone joint or both.The

Root Canal Treatment
This tooth will be filled, but only after the
damaged pulp has been cleaned out, and the now
empty root canal filled with a passive material
that preserves the integrity of the root and does
not allow infection to destroy the area
surrounding the tooth.

White Fillings
These before and after photographs show the
results of replacement of old amalgam fillings
with composite fillings done in the mouth on the
same day.
In some larger fillings, a laboratory procedure
is involved where the filling is made by a
technician and then placed by the dentist. We
will let you know what type of restoration would
be right for you.
