Characteristics

• Frogs are amphibians
• They are exothermic.
• Frogs begin their lives as tadpoles.
• Frogs have very good eyesight and can see in
  nearly all directions.
• Frogs have amazing sense of hearing.
• Every different species of frog has his or her
  own look. They come in many colors, patterns and
  sizes.

Characteristics

• Frogs have very powerful back legs and webbed
  feet
• Frogs use their legs to swim or dig, or burrow,
  underground for hibernating.
• Certain frogs can jump up to 20 times their own
  body length in a single leap.
• Their skeletons are similar to people's skeletons
  except
• a frog's radius and ulna are fused into one bone.

Behavior Habitat

• An amphibian can live both on land and in water.
• Although frogs live on land their habitat must be
  near swamps, ponds or in a damp place.
• Frogs breathe through their nostrils while also
  absorbing about half the air they need through
  their skin.
• Instead of drinking water, frogs soak it into
  their body through their skin.
• Frogs will die if their skin dries out.
• Lay eggs in the water.

Diet

• Frogs are carnivores
• Small to medium sized frogs eat insects such as
  flies, mosquitoes, moths and dragonflies.
• Larger frogs will eat larger insects like
  grasshoppers and worms.
• Some large frogs will even eat small snakes,
  mice, baby turtles, and even other smaller frogs!
  
• Most frogs will starve before they eat a dead
  insect or animal.
